Oprah’s Farewell Show

Simplicity coupled with complexity weaved throughout your final show…the authenticity and pureness of your energy and intention had to resonate to every person that listened to your farewell show and in turn each soul had to connect, if only for minutes, to their own passion – pass- i -on – or longing for. What an

Happy 50th to my baby sister

Betsy you are lighthearted, incredibly funny (belong on a stage someplace), intelligent and beautiful – I feel so lucky and grateful to be your only sister – in your life you faced the incredible challenge of being a mom with a sick child (possibly life threatening) and you transformed that obstacle into a passion (pass-i-on)

A poem of inspiration

Jesus dreamt
Of a world
Of one
Global family
Each person
And blood family
Being a gift
From his Abba
Attempting to
Overcome the
Barriers of
Race, colour,
Sex and creed.
Locally we
Come together
With our individualities
Our languages
And cultures

Separate and distinct….
But there are
The obstacles
Of not knowing
Each other
And therefore
Experiencing a degree
Of unsureness
And fear.
We pass different ones
Sometimes as shadows …
Each of us
So tends to
Be centred on self
And yet how
We hunger for
Change, conversion
Of our hearts
And minds.
