Eating Lobster…

The best place to eat lobster is as close to the sea as possible – or at Marilyn’s house! I have lost count as to how many years we have been doing this yet it is always memorable; amazing food, drinks and conversation…and oh yea there is that pool competition between Mar and Midge; what fun! Thank you to Marilyn and Charlie for hosting this wonderful night in the busiest of seasons – you both did good!
…to Midge, Jack, Marilyn and Charlie – you are friends for life and I so appreciate each one of you and wish you each a joyful New Year! xo Patti

A poem of inspiration

Jesus dreamt
Of a world
Of one
Global family
Each person
Relationship
Friendship
And blood family
Being a gift
From his Abba
Attempting to
Overcome the
Barriers of
Race, colour,
Sex and creed.
Locally we
Come together
With our individualities
Our languages
And cultures

Separate and distinct….
But there are
The obstacles
Of not knowing
Each other
And therefore
Experiencing a degree
Of unsureness
And fear.
We pass different ones
Sometimes as shadows …
Each of us
So tends to
Be centred on self
And yet how
We hunger for
Change, conversion
Of our hearts
And minds.
