defined as continuous and profound contemplation or musing on a subject or series of subjects of a deep or abstruse nature. This explains our group…our subjects include spirituality, relationships, loss and gains, dreams and passions, friendships, humor, food, wine and even some dancing:) We have bared our souls, we have shared our lives and we have supported each other for another year. Tonight we will gather at Debra’s home for an amazing feast and celebration of oneness. Debra, Roe, Lisa, Jill, Anne, Judi, Marianne, Marsha, Kim – each of you are amazing women and I am grateful you are a piece of the puzzle that makes up my life. Within each of your lives you did good! Patti

A poem of inspiration

Jesus dreamt
Of a world
Of one
Global family
Each person
And blood family
Being a gift
From his Abba
Attempting to
Overcome the
Barriers of
Race, colour,
Sex and creed.
Locally we
Come together
With our individualities
Our languages
And cultures

Separate and distinct….
But there are
The obstacles
Of not knowing
Each other
And therefore
Experiencing a degree
Of unsureness
And fear.
We pass different ones
Sometimes as shadows …
Each of us
So tends to
Be centred on self
And yet how
We hunger for
Change, conversion
Of our hearts
And minds.
